Biography

Imperial College London

I work at IBM iX where I work in the energy, environment and utilities sector. Working with our global design team, engineers, data scientists, researchers and developers, I help organisations to disrupt their themselves and transform their business, all with the goal of improving customer experience.

I am also passionate about fighting climate change and I give around 50 keynotes each year on stages around the world, talking about emerging technology and how it can make our world work better.

I also host of The Ten Words Podcast (inspired by my book) I release a new episode each week, focusing on a famous person who has changed their life with a ten words quote. All profits from the Ten Words book were donated to the NHS to help pay for two NICU incubators, like the ones which saved the lives of my identical twin girls. You can read more on my blog at jeremy.live/tenwords.

When I'm not with our customers telling stories about IBM, I will probably be racing my bicycle or drinking whiskey somewhere nice. (I curate the instagram @NotebooksandBourbon). I also enjoy spending too much money on rare business books and vintage typewriters.

In past lives I have owned my own agency, written some books and worked for brands such as Nike, MTV, Rovio, LVMH, Uber and Vodafone. I have worked on strategic accounts with Facebook’s largest ad agency and led marketing strategy teams at Adobe and Salesforce. I have also spent some time as a giraffe keeper!
