Presentation

With a background as M.A. in contemporary history and social studies and a nearly completed PhD I have worked with general management, strategic communications, marketing and branding over the past nearly 30 years both in organisations and as an external advisor and both in private and public sectors. My previous positions have included that of VP corporate communications at the VELUX Group, information manager with the Danish Pension Fund Administration (PKA), and deputy manager of GiroBank’s communication department prior to the merger with Bikuben. I have also been deputy director of ABC Public Relations, and a partner and co‑founder of Bottomline Communications, head of communication in the Danish National Police and the Municipality of Rudersdal.

My primary research interest currently is focused on the authorities'' use of social media with special emphasis on crisis communication and management and on negotiation and conflict management in global oriented organisations.

Courses

Negotiation and conflict resolution in organizations at the graduate level (elective).

Supervision

BA thesis, Master thesis and internship reports. Supervisor primarily in the areas of crisis communication, change communication and organisational communication with focus on social media.
