Biography
I work with individuals struggling with a variety of life stressors and mental health concerns. Having worked and trained in college mental health centers, an inpatient hospital and integrative medicine, I'm able to work with a wide range of presenting concerns and diagnoses. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, motivation issues, ADHD, chronic pain and illness, identity development/exploration, sexual health, body image, eating concerns, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship issues, and academic concerns. I use an integrated, trauma-informed approach to therapy incorporating ACT, CBT, DBT, and MI, within a relational and cultural framework. I also have a particular interest and specialized experience working with students and individuals struggling with chronic pain/illness and am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). My style is open and collaborative. We'll explore your present concerns, values, and goals to help you build a better life. This may include exploration of repeated patterns, understanding the impact of previous life experiences, and/or practicing new skills. My therapy approach is tailored for each client and modified as needed throughout our work together.
