Biography

Jeniris is a licensed, board-certified music therapist and clinical educator with a passion for humanitarian work. She holds a master's degree in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music. Fluent in 4 languages and proficient in over 10 musical instruments, she has pioneered international service-learning trips and presented at numerous conferences across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. Currently, Jeniris holds a position at Hands in Harmony, a nonprofit organization offering Neurologic Music Therapy services to Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. She served as Vice President-Latin America for the 2019-2020 year and is excited to continue serving the LAMTN as President for the upcoming year.
