Biography

-

An artistic minded guy living in the urban world. Simply, that is me. Born in Singapore but having grown in a rural area back in India, I look at many things with an artistic mind and creativity. Animation has driven me to stretch myself beyond my capabilities. To look at things differently, to express myself effortlessly.

I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) in Digital Animation from the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University. To further expand my skills and knowledge, I have attended various masterclasses including PIXAR and LES Gobelin. I have also interned with LUCAS Films which exposed me to the industry standards and expectations.

Some of my notable works are “The Hunt” which clinched a bronze award at the Hong Kong International Mobile Film Festival 2014 and was also nominated at the Singapore Short Film Awards 2013. Another animation short film, “Shadows”, for which I worked as a character animation artist won the award for Best Animation at the Williamsburg International Film Festival 2015, New York, USA.

Apart from working on films, I also run my own channel ‘Creative Hands’ where I share my drawings, sketches, videos, animation clips. I also take animation lessons for kids and adults to instil knowledge and interest in the field of animation. The passion for teaching has led me to many places to conduct lessons. Well, as the saying goes “The sky is the limit!”
