Jeanne Rubner is the first Vice-President Global Communication and Public engagement at Technical University Munich (TUM). She has been a science journalist for several decades and started her career as an editor at Süddeutsche Zeitung, Germany's leading national daily paper. During the last ten years, she was head of the crossmedia science and education desk at Bayerischer Rundfunk, the German Public Broadcasting in Munich, and responsible for several radio and TV shows as well as web content. Jeanne Rubner holds a Ph.D. in physics/AI from the TUM and currently teaches science communication at the University of Politics. She is the author of several books on science, politics and education.
