A highly experienced marketer and economist, Jean Sutton has worked in market research since graduating in economics from Trinity College Dublin. Her professional career has involved vast market research on a number of projects working for high profile companies such as the Irish Trade Board, British Steel Corporation and Industrial Market Research Limited.
Since then, Jean has worked for a number of years as a research consultant and since 1984 this has been under her own company Actionline Research & Training Ltd.
Jean has been on the faculty of CIM for the past 10 years, running both open and in company qualifications and training courses. She is the Lead Course Director on the Customer Experience module at Level 3 Certificate for CIM Academy and runs courses on market intelligence and market research, as well as on specific research skills such as interviewing, desk research and questionnaire design. Clients for courses she run have included 3M, Microsoft, Nissan, Renault, Univeral Music, Companies House and The British Council.
