Jean Dowson

Jean Dowson is a Programme Director, tutor and coach. She has over thirty years’ experience in leadership, training and management appointments both overseas and in the UK, including 15 years board level experience. Jean left the British Army in 2006 as the most senior serving female officer in all three Armed Services and established a training and development partnership supporting aspiring middle and senior executives to achieve their goals. She is an insightful, commercially aware, and excellent facilitator and trainer with a successful track record. Her focus with clients is on developing effective and practical leadership and management solutions that deliver enhanced capability and sustained change.

Jean has successfully designed and delivered leadership and development programmes for a variety of public and private sector clients and has a wide portfolio of coaching clients across all sectors in both the UK and internationally. She has worked with BAE Systems, MAN, Government of Abu Dhabi, Nexen Inc, Commerzbank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Equality and Human Rights Commission, Razak School of Government, Malaysia and Royal Mail Group. She is also a fellow of the Chartered Management where she coaches and runs diploma courses in leadership and management for Chartered Engineers. Jean is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and believes that coaching keeps her clients focussed, determined and successful.

Jean has an MBA and BSc, holds two coaching diplomas, and is a qualified EQi Assessor, qualified MBTI Practitioner and NLP Practitioner. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
