Biography
Zicklin School of Business
Jay Dahya, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Finance at Baruch College as well as Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School.
Dr. Dahya specializes in all areas of corporate finance, including corporate valuation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and multinational financial management. His work has been published in leading finance journals, including the Journal of Finance,Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
He brings to the classroom substantial private- and public-sector financial experience, including roles as Senior Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group at Merrill Lynch and Analyst at Andersen Consulting. Dr. Dahya has also provided consulting or training services for multinational institutions including Merrill Lynch Global Capital Markets, Citigroup Wealth Management, Credit Suisse Investment Banking, Deutsche Bank Near Shore Operations, BCP Millennium – Credit Risk Management, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital among others.
Dr. Dahya received his PhD in Finance from Dundee University.
