The Scheller College of Business

Jason Poovey has an MS in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and is the Branch Head of the HPC, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering Branch at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. He has taught at North Carolina State University, Emory University, and Georgia Tech.

At GTRI, Poovey’s work has focused on creating high performance solutions to a wide variety of problems and applying analytics to large quantities of data. This research has spanned the field from social media analysis, business intelligence, systems engineering, health analytics, Internet of Things research, and network analysis. He is also active in the research community with numerous refereed technical papers and active membership in the IEEE Computer Society.
