International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans

Mr. Ahl is a consulting actuary at FACT with over 20 years of experience in consulting on issues related to qualified and nonqualified pension plans, medical, dental and life insurance plans. His extensive experience includes consulting on issues relating to the Affordable Care Act, plan design, financial projections, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, early retirement windows, withdrawal liability and union negotiations. Throughout his career, Mr. Ahl has worked with a wide range of clients including multiemployer funds, public sector funds, multinational single employer plans and multiemployer plans. He has presented at educational seminars sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and is currently serving as a member of its Professionals Committee. Mr. Ahl received a B.S. degree in statistics from Cornell University. He is a fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA), a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and is enrolled by the Joint Board (EA).
