About Me

I am proud to lead a team of talented career professionals committed to building skills for today – and instilling pride for life. Bringing together creative, collaborative, and analytical strengths from my diverse background as a large-company marketing director, small-firm entrepreneur, and executive recruiter, I created my own encore career to help students find their place after graduation. As a onetime English major, I advocate for student attainment of both career-readiness competencies and a liberal arts foundation.

In addition, as the primary career liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences, I help students understand and apply the lifelong value of their liberal arts skills to pursue a meaningful career. Bringing an insider's perspective of a longtime executive recruiter, entrepreneur, and marketing executive-and a personal liberal arts background-I teach students how to connect the dots. Our Seekers career exploration group for Arts and Sciences majors and the rapidly expanding Widener Works externship program, which matches students with alumni for job and graduate program shadows, are particular points of pride. I also oversee student learning assessment for our office.

As a lifelong learner, I recently completed Widener's doctoral program (EdD) in higher education leadership. I am a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner and a fellow of Leadership Philadelphia.
