Biography

Rotterdam School of Management

I am an Assistant Professor in Business-Society Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

I hold a PhD in organizational theory from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, where my work was supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Cambridge Trust. I hold an MPhil in innovation, strategy, and organization (from Cambridge), an MSc in marketing and strategy (from Warwick), and a double-BSc in business administration (from EBS and Tongji University). I'm a member of EGOS and AoM as well as of ThinkTank30, the young think tank of the Club of Rome (Germany).

I am fortunate to be working with a range of inspiring collaborators, including Jennifer Howard-Grenville and Mark de Rond (Cambridge), Wes Helms (Brock), Claus Rerup and Bryan Spencer (Frankfurt School of Finance and Management), Jerry Goodstein (Washington State), Laura Claus (UCL), Aulia Syakhroza (Bayes), and Milo Wang (Arizona State).

Prior to my academic career, I was a management consultant for L.E.K. Consulting in their Munich and London offices supporting international clients across various industries in developing their organisational design, market entry, and growth strategies. I have also worked for Sony, Siemens, and the Haniel Group in the UK, Germany, and China.

In my free time, I enjoy open-water diving, reading fiction, playing the saxophone, and studying Mandarin.
