Hertie School of Governance

Jan Jakub Chromiec is a Doctoral Student at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He studies the role of Eurozone membership in European Union negotiations. Jan Jakub is an Affiliate Fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute and previously worked at the Bertelsmann Foundation, Fraunhofer Institute and universities of Rotterdam and Mainz. He studied flute, applied linguistics, management and public policy in Łódź, Mainz, Rotterdam and Berlin. An alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung), he has a PhD scholarship from the Foundation of German Business (sdw).
