Founder & CEO of Aloxy / Professor Entrepreneurship

Biography

Obtained a Ph.D. in computer science engineering at Ghent University and continued my research in network technology at Bell Labs while managing several research projects. As part of a corporate venture effort, I founded and led a small team of intrapreneurs to bring innovative home networking technology under CxO attention and push it on the product roadmap. Joined the Business Technology Office of McKinsey & Company, serving clients mainly in the telecommunication and banking sector. Specialised in IT business strategy, change management, management coaching and pushed McKinsey’s thinking about Lean application development forward. While founding the start-up acceleration program iStart at iMinds / imec, lectured entrepreneurship at Antwerp Management School and coordinated iMinds' corporate strategy. In 2017, founded Aloxy to enable the industrial Internet of Things within the process and chemical industry.
