Jamison Steeve

Program Instructor at Rotman School of Management

Biography

Rotman School of Management

Jamison Steeve is the Executive Director at the Martin Prosperity Institute and the Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity, two of Canada’s leading think tanks.

In these roles Jamison is responsible for the day to day operation of both institutes, as well as the development of the strategic plan, communication vehicles and policy agenda. He aims to build upon the successful legacy of the institutes while forging an exciting future and make a real policy impact.

Since joining the MPI and ICP, the institutes have been making waves. The ICP has published a number of papers on subjects ranging from tax reform to dead cash to its widely read annual report. In addition, the ICP launched a new website, along with blog content, to become a more relevant and timely voice in Ontario public policy.

Meanwhile, the MPI has been receiving high praise for work in a number of areas. Roger Martin, Don Tapscott and Richard Florida were all named in the Thinkers50. Jamison intends to institutionalize what these three have accomplished individually and make MPI a player on the global stage. Here at home, Steeve has linked the MPI with our friends at the Toronto Star to launch the 10 Ideas for Toronto, a project that will generate much excitement over the coming year.
