Jamille is currently the Director of Women's Health and Rights at the Center for American Progress where she oversees strategic planning and policy development on matters impacting the well-being of women and their families, including health care and public health policies. Previously, Jamille was a Policy Analyst at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she focused on health care reform including ACA implementation, as well as private insurance coverage, confidentiality, religious exemptions, and nondiscrimination provisions. Jamille has also held fellowships at Harvard Law School's Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation, where she managed law students and assisted with preparation for a Public Health Law and Policy course; and the National Health Law Program, where she focused on increasing health care access for low-income people, young people and people with chronic illnesses. Jamille has a law degree and Master's of Public Health from St. Louis University and a Bachelor's of Journalism from the University of Missouri.
