Jamie Parris is a writer for the Cornell University Policy Office and the Division of Financial Affairs (DFA) communications. With more than 13 years of experience in the position, Parris manages the policy development and review process, which involves helping policy makers write and revise numerous policies, and chairs meetings of the Policy Advisory Group. In the DFA communications role, Parris manages finance communications projects and DFA’s many websites.

Before joining the policy and communications team, Parris served in several finance and administrative capacities at Cornell. As associate bursar in the Office of the Bursar, she managed student account services, oversaw administrative operations, and was project manager for implementing an online billing and payment system.
