Biography
Jim Brigaitis has more than 30 years of experience as a pharmaceutical and biologics marketing executive. During his career, Jim has held senior positions in diverse organizations ranging from the world’s largest pharmaceutical company to a start-up firm.
A key focus during Jim’s career has been launching complex innovations and transforming biopharmaceutical markets. He has led the strategic planning and marketing efforts for a number of multi-billion dollar products that have redefined the standard of care in a variety of disease categories. These include Aricept (alzhiemer’s disease), Diflucan (infectious diseases), Lyrica (pain and fibromyagia), Viagra (erectile dysfunction), and Zoloft (depression).
Jim is currently the President and Founder of a consulting firm that specializes in commercial strategy for new and emerging biopharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, Jim was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Commercial Development for Pfizer’s $7 billion neurosciences portfolio. He was also a member of a small executive team that secured venture capital funding to form a new company that successfully developed and out-licensed a novel antibiotic (Solosec).
