Presentation

My research is focused on Danish-Jewish businesses from 1938-1960 and the surrounding institutions. Nazi-Germany enforced their racial measures towards Danish-Jewish. This process was enforced during the war years. I wish to chart and analyze how the Danish Government and the relevant business organizations reacted to these highly discriminatory measures. My research will also focus on how the relevant businesses reacted and how they were compensated and reentered the market after 1945.

The Ph.D scholarship is funded by a research grant from The Danish Council for Independent Research. It is a joint-venture between the Danish National Archives and Copenhagen Business School.

Primary research areas

  • Aryanization of Jewish Companies in Denmark and Europe
  • Compensation Issues for Danish-Jewish Companies after 1945
  • The Danish-Jewish Experience During the Nazi Era
  • Business History
