Nanyang Technological University Centre for Professional and Continuing Education
Jackie is a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner, spending 8 years with General Electric as a Six Sigma Black Belt and 10 years in the IT industry as an Operations Manager, complementing process operation with Lean Six Sigma rigor.
As a Six Sigma Black Belt with General Electric, Jackie mentored at least 100 Green Belts across Asia Pacific in process improvement, cost out and revenue growth initiatives spanning multiple functions in Sales Operation, Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Field Engineering and Finance. She also delivered training for Six Sigma, Change Acceptance Process (CAP) and Facilitation Workshops.
After General Electric, Jackie spent 10 years as a Business Operations Manager; first with Sun Microsystems for 6 years, then with IBM Global Business for another 4 years. The business operations role placed Jackie in a unique position to leverage her Lean Six Sigma process rigor and data analytics to drive business excellence in Operations. Jackie brought improvement to a wide range of processes, from front line sales to bottom line profitability. These included improvement in demand generation, customer account planning, pipeline-forecasting management, channel distribution management, sales resource allocation, commission compensation, ERP-deployment functional readiness, business intelligence data-mart analytics and margin improvement.
Currently, Jackie is a senior consultant with Pivotal Resources, developing and delivering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt and Facilitation training for business excellence, continuous improvement and people transformation initiatives. Jackie coaches Black Belts, Green Belts and facilitate ‘kaizen’ events across various industries including financial services, manufacturing, insurance, government shared services, automotive and healthcare.
