Jack Goncalo is a Professor of Business Administration and the Robert & Helen P. Seass Faculty Fellow at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Gies College of Business. Professor Goncalo earned his PhD in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He came to Illinois in 2016 after spending 12 years on the faculty at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. His current research and teaching interests are in creativity, idea evaluation and team collaboration. His research on creativity has been widely covered in popular press outlets including CNN, NPR, the New York Times and Time Magazine.
