Biography
Ioannis (Yannis) Stamatopoulos joined the faculty of the McCombs School of Business in 2016 as an Assistant Professor of Information, Risk, and Operations Management. He received his Ph.D from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences with a focus on Operations Management. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Athens. His research focuses on the study of retail operations using empirical and analytical methods. His research is practice-driven and is primarily conducted in collaboration with practitioners.
