Since a couple of years he is Chairman of the Centre for Financial Services. Ignace Combes started his career at JP Morgan in Brussels as a project leader in the IT division. Subsequently he became responsible for several marketing and operations programmes within JP Morgan in Brussels as well as New York. He was an executive director and deputy CEO at Euroclear from 2001 to 2011 as well as a board member at Febelfin and SWIFT. He is currently an administrator at Partena and Petercam. In 2011, he joined the Petercam Board of Directors as an independent administrator and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee.
Ignace is involved in Vlerick Business School since July 2011. With more than 35 years of experience in the financial sector, Ignace joined our school to support the launch of a Centre for Financial Services. .
