Himanshu Tambe

As the Chief of the Enterprise Solutions Business Unit at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), I am responsible for the team that architects, designs, develops and delivers bespoke learning solutions to build organisation capabilities that deliver strategic advantage.

Prior to this, as a Managing Director at Accenture I have held several roles; leading the Talent & Organisation Consulting business across Southeast Asia; as the Global Leader for the Talent & Organisation Consulting CoE; as the Asia Pacific Leader for the Talent & Organisation Strategy practice; and as the Managing Partner of the Functional Practices in the Global Talent & Innovation Network. Prior experience includes Arthur D Little, the world's oldest and storied consulting firm; establishing and operating a niche Strategy and Organisation Design company; working as an automobile manufacturing engineer at the very start of my career.

I have deep and varied experience in B2B sales of professional services including customer acquisition, corporate relationship management, shaping end-to-end solutions, and driving campaigns. I have a strong track record as a business builder having established new capabilities and successfully managed large virtually distributed global teams. I have run medium to large sized consulting businesses in India and Southeast Asia driving driving strong year-on-year growth and building functional expertise.

I have worked with more than 50 C level executives across multiple industries including metals and mining, banking and consumer goods in India, Southeast Asia, Australia, Korea, Middle East, South Africa and the USA. My most recent work was with Government & Public Service leaders in Singapore to define, design and implement Transformation with new Ways of Working, Human Capital and Technology to realize measurable value. My functional specialization is in Future Organisation design, Strategic Workforce Planning and Data Driven Talent Management.

My passion is to empower individuals and organisations to thrive through Life Long Learning. I pursue this through my work, by teaching at Management Schools in India and Singapore and by mentoring undergraduate and executive education students.

I have been consistently appreciated by peers and team members as a people developer. My firm belief is that the true mark of a leader is in the number of leaders created under their watch.

Prior to completing a MBA from the NUS Business School in Singapore, I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from BIT in India.
