Biography

Dr. Henry Sze is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Clinical Oncology, The University of Hong Kong. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2004 and started his career in the Department of Clinical Oncology, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. He obtained fellowship from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2009 and was awarded the Rohan Williams Medal for outstanding performance in the fellowship examination. He obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2011 and joined the University of Hong Kong since 2013. He is currently a Council member of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists.
His main research interests include nasopharyngeal carcinoma, breast cancer and urogenital oncology with particular reference to biomarkers and novel treatment techniques. He is currently working on prognostic and predictive biomarkers in nasopharyngeal carcinoma with an ultimate aim of achieving personalized medicine in combination with cutting-edge radiotherapy techniques. He is involved in multiple clinical trials studying investigational agents for breast cancer. The role and technique of radiotherapy for various clinical conditions are also his research focus.
