Henry delivers management, selling and negotiation skills courses for bankers and professionals worldwide. Henry has a First Class degree in Modern Languages from Trinity College, Dublin and an MBA from Henley Management College. He started his career at the Commerzbank in Frankfurt where he worked in the foreign department in Trade Finance. He has worked at DC Gardner Training and Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC for 25 years and has had two main roles during his time in the firm, as an organiser of global conferences and as a trainer in management, communication and selling skills. In this context, he organised a variety of Euromoney conferences on private banking and on trusts. At DC Gardner Training, where he was Managing Director for many years, Henry has delivered many “soft skills” training courses for banks, financial firms and law firms, including most of the most prestigious and best-known international banking operations. He has been particularly active in giving training courses in the private banking sector in locations like Luxembourg, Switzerland, Singapore, and the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. In the Isle of Man, for example, he has delivered around 100 days of training. Henry’s training assignments have spanned 15 years and well over 30 countries, and his core areas of specialism include Management Development, Advanced Selling Skills, Communication Skills and consultancy for the banking sector on strategic matters relating to Human Resource Development.Henry is a particular specialist in Selling and Negotiation Skills training. He has delivered courses on Negotiation, Persuasiveness, Influence and Conflict-Handling for many banks all over the world. Henry is accredited to use profiling tools such as the MBTI®, Thomas International PPA DISC in his courses, and the ASE Emotional Intelligence questionnaire, and he can deliver training in English, French and German. He is Euromoney Learning Solutions’ Client Relationship Manager in various countries, including in France and in Switzerland. He holds a PRINCE2 Project Management qualification. Training clients have included Morgan Stanley, Banco Santander, ING, Lloyds Bank, Commerzbank, Bank of America, HSBC, AXA Group, Allen & Overy, and regulators such as the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, as well as numerous private banking operations. Henry delivers courses all over the world, every year to clients in the wealth management space, all over Europe, in Hong Kong and Singapore, in the Americas and in the Middle East.
