Hélène Cherrier completed her PhD at the University of Arkansas on disposal and identity work in the context of downshifting. Her research focuses on bringing about a more sustainable and just society. Her current research interests consider waste value, social and environmental activism, and object-subject relations. She has published her work in quality refereed academic journals including the Journal of Business Research, the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Management.
