Haskel Benishay is Professor Emeritus of Managerial Economics. He joined the faculty in 1967 and played an important role in the formation of the Department of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences.

Professor Benishay has published his research results in numerous professional journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Journal of Money and Banking and the Journal of Industrial Economics. His research and teaching areas included macroeconomic policy, finance, statistics and policy formulation for a firm. Throughout his career, Professor Benishay brought his knowledge to a wide audience through a long running column in Pioneer Press, and in many TV, radio and print interviews.

Professor Benishay received his doctorate from the University of Chicago. He retired from Kellogg in 2005.
