Biography

SDA Bocconi School of Management

In my research, I focus on performance trade-offs associated with using different ways of organizing human capital in the context of human resource allocation and knowledge production. In my dissertation, I look at how the use of algorithms or new forms of organizing (such as "bossless" forms) shape coordination among members and knowledge integration within organizations. I use a variety of methodologies involving econometric analysis of large datasets, and computational modeling in my research.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I have worked in various industry sectors, ranging from software to retail to automotive manufacturing. I hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pune, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

When not working, I enjoy attending classical music and Jazz concerts, and reading philosophy and history. I am also an avid trivia buff (a big Jeopardy! fan).
