Biography

Hans Nowak is a strategy and operations professional with vast experience using data to drive business decisions. He has experience working on projects with companies ranging from Amazon to NASA and is currently working on robotics and automation initiatives as a consultant at Eli Lilly.

At IUPUI, Nowak teaches data analytics, database design, and statistical learning courses. Before teaching at IUPUI, he taught naval and nuclear engineering at MIT. He also has experience teaching courses in machine learning, optimization, leadership, and organizational change.

At MIT, Nowak specialized in optimization of manufacturing systems and supply chains as a Siebel Scholar and LGO Fellow.
