Hanno Wollmann

Dr. Hanno Wollmann has been a partner with Schoenherr since 1998. He established the firm's EU and competition practice group. Hanno's practice focuses on European and Austrian competition law, where he represents and advises clients in a wide range of industries, including energy, telecommunications, environment, insurance, banking and finance, media, transport, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. He is engaged in all types of public and private litigation as well as out of court advice and - of course - in merger control work. Hanno is recognised in The International Who's Who Competition Lawyers & Economists and is highly rated in various other international rankings. He obtained his law degrees from the University of Vienna (Dr. iur. 1991) and the University of Exeter (LL.M. in European Legal Studies 1991). In addition to his legal education, he obtained a business degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (Mag. rer. soc. oec. 1991). Dr. Hanno Wollmann is a member of the board of the Studienvereinigung antitrust e.V. and co-editor of legal journal Ecolex.
