Overview

Hanhua is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (Centre for Epidemiology), Division of Population Health, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.

She is an Affiliated Staff in the Centre for Biostatistics, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.

Biography

Hanhua obtained her PhD under the supervision of Professor Sarah Nettleton(Professor of Medical Sociology) and Dr Jeremy Miles ((then) Lecturer in Statistics) from The University of York. Her thesis was titled “Investigating the possibility of changing doctors'' prescribing in China: What does an intervention study tell us?” (England: The University of York Library).

Upon completing her PhD in 2005, Hanhua began her career in education and research at The University of Manchester and have remained at Manchester ever since.
