My main motivation is to support businesses, ideas, people and projects to generate a positive social impact and to contribute to changing lives.

I have a large experience working in development finance worldwide. As a senior member of International Development Institutions (such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund), I have been responsible for financing development projects and microfinance institutions, the definition of country development strategies and the design of governmental policies supporting economic growth and job creation. I have also been Board Member of various microfinance banks as well as Investment Committee and Advisory Committee member in impact investment funds.

Currently I am Head of Change Management Unit at EIB.

I am passionate about Social innovation and I am founder of Innovation for Change Institute a Think Tank to promote Social Innovation, and co-founder of the Impact HUB Madrid, incubator for social entrepreneurs.

I have lectured in a number of universities and business schools: Instituto de Empresa, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Escuela de Organización Industrial, Universidad de Alcalá, Centro Internacional de Apoyo a las Innovaciones Financieras (Bolivia) and Centro Internacional de Formación Financiera (CIFF).

I am involved in a community for organizational learning based on the principles of the Society for Organizational Learning (MIT). I am a Professional Coach certified by the International Coaching Federation.
