Graham Sinclair

Graham Sinclair runs an ESG advisory boutique designing sustainable investment theses at the intersection of investment, strategy and sustainability. Client engagements in the global institutional investment ecosystem include AIG Global Investors Group, the UN Environment Programme for Principles for Responsible Investment, the Gates Foundation, World Wildlife Foundation, International Finance Corporation, Istanbul Stock Exchange, the CFA Institute, the China Africa Development Fund, and The John Templeton Foundation.

He began his career in retirement funds consulting and institutional investment then specialized in sustainable investment from 2004, firstly managing investment research products at KLD in Boston before launching SinCo. Since his 2007 Harvard Kennedy School lecture “Investing in CSR: From Wall St to Main St.,, Graham has presented at over 100 events on 4 continents and lectured on sustainability and investment to MBAs. His TEDx "Investing As If The Future Matters" was ranked top 5 in ESG by the CFA Institute in 2018.

Graham’s most recent academic article is on ESG indexes for “Research Handbook of Finance and Sustainability” (Edward Elgar, 2018). Graham has professional certifications in investment and sustainability, was selected to the inaugural cohort of the WWF One Planet Leaders Programme in Switzerland, holds an MBA from the Villanova School of Business and an LL.B from Howard College at Natal University.
