The Robert H. Smith School of Business
Gosia Langa joined the Robert H. Smith School of Business faculty as a lecturer in Spring of 2008. Throughout her extensive teaching career she has focused on a variety of courses within management. She had opportunities to instruct undergraduate students in Management, Business Policy, Human Resource Management, Teamwork and Interpersonal Relations, and Cross-Cultural Management. She is currently involved in developing an Executive MBA level course in Negotiations. High teaching evaluations and students who actively seek her classes prove her high value as a knowledgeable and personable instructor. Her teaching philosophy focuses on guiding her students to continuous improvement and providing them with direction to maintain and improve their skills even after the class concludes.
Gosia is also involved in conducting organizational education programs designed to help companies recognize and broaden the understanding of issues involving diversity and leadership, among others. She also plans to apply her expertise to the area of leadership coaching in the academic year 2009-2010.
