Gordon Kevin Spellman

Spellman began his professional investment career in 1993 and began teaching at the university level in 2000. Spellman’s investment experience crosses all asset classes, types of analyses (top-down, bottom-up, fundamental, and quantitative), and investment philosophies (value, growth, large, and small stocks, and long-term and short-term approaches). He has worked at buy-side public and private firms and on the sell-side of Wall Street. Spellman is the director of the Investment Management Certificate Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and consults in the field of behavioral finance, quantitative investments, and investment strategy. He has taught finance and investments at a number of reputable universities, and managed investment programs at UW-Milwaukee, UW-Madison, and The Ohio State University.
