Gerardo is the founder of Seeliger y Conde, one of Spain’s most successful executive recruiting firms. He is also a former managing director and vice chairman of two large multinational executive recruiting firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates.

Gerardo spent eight years working in financial services with Bankers Trust, before becoming the head of the international division of a prominent Spanish bank.

He has also worked closely with the International Olympic Committee throughout his career. Gerardo served as General Manager of the Adidas Holding Co. in Switzerland, President of International Olympic Finn Class, Olympic 49er Class and President of The America’s Cup CORC (Challenger of Record Committee) in San Diego in 1995. A former Olympic sailor, he has attended 15 Olympic Games in different capacities.

Gerardo was born in Spain and has a degree in economic science from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
