McCourt School of Public Policy

Dr Georg Caspary has been working with the World Bank Group for eight years. After previous work in the environment and governance sectors (particularly on capacity building for non-governmental organizations in four continents), he currently works on private sector development. He was previously with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); and helped launch two start-up companies. He has collaborated with and lectured at a wide variety of think tanks and universities such as the Atlantic Council, the Yale Center for Globalization and the French Institute for International Relations. He has published in a wide range of journals including 'Global Governance', 'Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal', 'Energy Economics' and others. Georg Caspary holds degrees from Oxford University, Sciences-Po Paris and the London School of Economics.
