Professional Background Gene Gallivan’s career is marked by successful design and implementation of numerous large-scale organizational development initiatives within the Fortune 200. Armed with more than 25 years of human resource, organizational development, and executive development experience in both the public and private sector, Gene helps leaders and teams identify and tackle blind spots that are limiting career growth or hindering important relationships. Using proven models of learning and development, he combines coaching expertise, intuition, and a focus on results to support his client’s goals and individual action plans. This partnership promotes improvement in performance, organizational interactions and the individual careers of his clients. “I see my role as an objective partner focused on assisting my clients as they work through issues that often involve a complex mix of tactical, strategic, and relational components.” In addition to the clients he serves, Gene is active on the Coaching Advisory Board of Kennesaw State University’s Cole’s School of Business in Georgia and is a board member of the Graduate School Alliance of Executive Coaching (GSAEC). He is a lead member of the Managerial Coaching Certificate faculty of the KSU Coles College of Business and serves on the EMBA Coaching Staff of Georgia State University.

- Collaborated with the CEO at the largest privately held petroleum pipeline in the United States to introduce and serve as external coach to the executive leadership team.
- Completed a four-year assignment as coach to the Vice President of Marketing for the largest privately owned tire manufacturer in the world.
- Coached Executive Team at the largest privately held technology company in South Carolina.
- Currently engaged in on-going design and facilitation of the Managerial Coach Certificate Program delivered at the Coles School of Business.
- One of only three coaches chosen to support key leaders within the University System of Georgia’s Accelerated Leadership Academy.
