Biography

Gary Simon has varied research interests within statistics, and has published on geographical methods, sports data, slave insurance, estimation of discrete parameters (with Halina Frydman), and the home team advantage in baseball (with Jeffrey Simonoff). He is working at present on the ethics of transferring risk for money.

Professor Simon's teaching covers the full-time M.B.A. program, the Langone M.B.A. program, and Stern's undergraduate program.
