Rutgers Business School

Gary is a Professor at Rutgers Graduate School of Business in Pharmaceutical Management and President of MMR, a health care consulting company, in Mount Olive, New Jersey offering various healthcare stakeholders’ innovative solutions for navigating the complex U.S. market.

He is a national speaker on U.S. healthcare trends, access, reimbursement, and policy. Additionally, Gary is a writer and editor for the peer-reviewed journal, American Health, and Drug Benefits.

With 30 plus years’ expertise in healthcare, Gary is recognized throughout the pharmaceutical industry for his innovative approaches to access and policy issues.

Representing Rutgers, Gary is a Professor, Pharmaceutical Management, at Rutgers Graduate School of Business and Blanche and Irwin Lerner Center for Pharmaceutical Management Studies as Guest Presenter and Assistant Director. He works with Rutgers Executive Education to create programs and serve as an instructor for healthcare-related topics. Annually, he lectures on healthcare structure and reimbursement for graduating physicians at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers Medical School.

Additionally, Mr. Branning is a writer and editor for the peer-reviewed journal, American Health, and Drug Benefits.

Previously, Gary held executive-level positions with Pfizer, Pharmacia, and Parke-Davis. He was Executive Director of Managed Markets Marketing for Pharmacia Corporation. Before working with Pharmacia, he worked with Quintiles Informatics (currently IQVIA) as Senior Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Strategic Business Unit.

Mr. Branning received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Wagner College and an MBA in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
