Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
More than three decades of experience in governance and public sector management at policy, advisory, and program levels across 4 continents, including in academia, with a strong focus on knowledge management as well. Have had academic appointments as Adjunct Professor at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP, Singapore), and the same at National College of Public Administration and Governance (University of the Philippines) as well as Non-Resident Fellow at ADB Institute, Tokyo. Retired in 2021 from a full-time role at ADB as Advisor, Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, and Chief of the Bank's Knowledge Advisory Services Center. Prior roles at ADB included Chief of the Governance Thematic Group. Currently completing a UNDP consultancy in Nepal (preparing a report on the country governance context for UNDP's independent country program evaluation). From 1 August 2021, serving in a full-time capacity as the Executive Director of the Stichting Nepal Policy Institute (The Hague and Kathmandu). Will be teaching a course on Social Policy Design at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (during Semester 2, commencing January 2022).
