Gaby Boone

Gaby is an expert in Management and Organizational Development, with more than 30 years of management experience in international companies such as 3M, Citibank, Honeywell, Europay – MasterCard, Swissair/Sabena, and Management Centre Europe. For the past few years, Gaby has been focusing on his consultancy career as facilitator, trainer and executive coach.

Professional background Gaby began his career in 1974 as the personnel supervisor for 3M Belgium. After five years, he joined Citicorp, where he became the training manager for the Benelux Retail Banking group.

His next assignment was head of the European Management Development Centre of Honeywell, including the sales & marketing functions, R&D, factories, etc. He worked his way toward becoming the HR Head for one of the European Centres of Excellence (PACE).

In 1995 he joined Europay (presently MasterCard Europe) to build the Europay Academy, with responsibilities covering training & management development activities for the Europay/MasterCard management and staff, and a broad portfolio of training for the clients of Europay.

The Swissair/Sabena group asked Gaby to join them in January 2000 to take the job of VP Management Development, including the “people integration” of the newly acquired businesses of Swissair. When Swissair came to a close, Gaby started his own consultancy company – combined with the management of the Brussels Office of the Danish Leadership Institute DIEU (now called Mannaz).

In 2004, Management Centre Europe asked Gaby to join as its director of programme development and faculty management as part of a change in structure and strategy toward a more pragmatic and business-oriented faculty and curriculum.

Finally in 2011 he decided to return to his consulting work, becoming involved in both private and public organizations in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Education and qualifications Gaby holds a Master in Business Psychology from the University of Leuven – Belgium. He is a certified MBTI, LIFO, FIRO-B and other psychometric instruments Coach. He was also an Assessor for EFQM and Equis programmes.

Personal Gaby is Belgian, lives in Belgium and he conducts his workshops in English, Dutch and French.
