Gabriel Noussan

Professor Noussan holds a Doctorate in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Finance (Magna Cum Laude), from the IESE of Barcelona University of Navarra, a Master's in Business Administration from the IAE and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the UADE.

He is Professor of Corporate Finance at IAE since 1985. Visiting Professor at IEEM, Uruguay; PAD and University of Piura, Peru; IDE, Ecuador; San Telmo International Institute of Seville, Spain; IESE, Spain; IPADE, Mexico; ESE, Chile; INALDE, Colombia and Business School of the Catholic University of Chile. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford Graduate School of Business during January and February 2002.

He has taught classes in a wide variety of Finance and Business Management courses and seminars for various Companies, Banks, Educational Institutions, etc. in Argentina, Spain, Ecuador and Uruguay. Among them we can mention: IBM, Coca Cola, RENFE, Perez Companc, Techint, Bco. Río, ESSO, SOCMA, La Plata Cereal, Banco de Galicia, Siderar SA, Microsoft, Guipeba-Ceval, Novartis, Molinos SA, Syngenta SA, etc.

In the professional field, he has acted as a Consultant in various companies in Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, Chile, Peru, Spain and Ecuador. The most frequent topics of consultation are those related to: company valuation, mergers and acquisitions, Application of Management Mechanisms Oriented to the Creation of Economic Value, Development of Variable Remuneration Mechanisms for Management, analysis and evaluation of new businesses and strategy financial. In the consultations in which he has participated, he has generally played the role of Project Director.

PUBLICATIONS AND AWARDS

The subject of his Doctoral Thesis, completed in 1995, has been "The reconversion of Commercial Banking in Argentina". He has also obtained a second prize for a research presented at the International Social Security Association based in Geneva, Switzerland.​

For his doctoral studies at IESE in Barcelona, ​​he obtained a Scholarship from the Ibero-American Cooperation Institute, dependent on the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ​
