Research

Frankie Schram is doing research on the crossroads between administrative law and administrative sciences. His interest goes to legal protection, complaint management, freemdom of information, regulation management, information management, privacy protection and data protection and secrecy.

Frankie Schram has a bachelor in philosophy, master of history, master in law, is a candidate in musicology, a doctor in law and holds a special degree of government performance management and public administration. Hij works as an official at the Federal Public Service of Home Affairs, where he has an independent role as a member and secretary to the Commission for access to and the reuse of government documents and of the Federal  Appeals Board for access to environmental information. Between 2004 and 2006 he was a doctor-assistant in the faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Antwerp and until 2015 he was a visiting professor to this faculty. He was repeatedly affiliated to the faculty of law at the University of Antwerp. He is affiliated with the Antwerp Management School as professor administrative law. He is currently a parttime lecturer of the courses “Bestuur en Burger” and “Beleidsimplementatie” at the Institute for Government, faculty of Social Sciences of the KULeuven. He also lectures in the program “Bemiddeling in de bestuurszaken” at the faculty of law of the same university. He instructs a considerable amount of continuing training related to his domains of expertise.
