Biography

François Quitin (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Brussels, Belgium, and the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, in 2011. He is an Assistant Professor with ULB. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the University of California, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, and from 2013 to 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

His research interests include experimental and prototyping aspects in wireless communications, taking advanced theoretical ideas all the way to practice. He was the recipient of the Alcatel-Lucent Bell Scientific Award in 2012.
