Biography

Francesco Rattalino is Professor in the Management Department and Dean of the ESCP Europe Torino Campus. He teaches both to Master students (Costs and Decisions, Management Control, Business Strategy and Problem Solving and Decision Making) and to Executives, in numerous open enrollment and custom programs. He is also Lecturer of Business Administration at the University of Turin.

 

His current research interests are in strategy execution, sustainability, performance management, family business and food & beverage industry.

 

Francesco Rattalino is a cum laude graduate in Economics of the University of Torino. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Turin with a thesis on "Performance Management in the Public Sector: Implementing the Balanced Scorecard at the Chamber of Commerce of Turin".

 

His professional career started in the Netherlands at Ferrero International BV as a Financial analyst and then moved to USA to work for Oracle Corp. as Senior Financial Application Consultant. After that he came back to Italy to work in the consulting industry as project manager and business developer for Motion International. Some of his customers were: Merck, Sorgenia, BT, Intesa SanPaolo. He joined ESCP Europe in 2006.

 

Professor Rattalino has written various research papers and won the “PREMIO OPTIME 1995/96”, Award of Academic Merit of the University of Turin and Turin Industrial Federation.
