Ezequiel Reficco

Before joining EGADE Business School, Dr. Ezequiel Reficco was Director of the Strategy Department of the School of Management of the Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), and editor of the CLADEA-BALAS Case Consortium (CBCC) and the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN), publications distributed by Harvard Business Publishing.

He has been a visiting professor at the University of Science School of Business (Malaysia), The Paris School of International Affairs (France), ESADE Business & Law School (Spain) and the Centro de Estudos em Administração do Terceiro Setor (CEATS), at the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Dr. Reficco was also a senior researcher at the Harvard Business School and an Associate Professor at the University of Los Andes, with an outstanding research portfolio.

In 2015, Dr. Ezquiel was placed in the 108th of the "500 Most Cited Colombian Researchers", Confidencial Colombia ranking, and was voted by students, graduates and program directors of the Universidad de Los Andes School of Management as one of the three teachers who had the most impact in the previous five years through their academic excellence.

In 2014 and 2010, he was recognized as the professor with the most publications among the faculty of the Universidad de Los Andes School of Management.

• In 2015, Dr Reficco was singled out among the “500 most widely cited Colombian researchers”, a ranking that included every researcher from all branches of scientific enquiry (physical, formal and natural sciences). He was ranked # 108th in the ranking (Colombia Confidencial).
• 2015: Chosen by Universidad de Los Andes School of Management alumni, students and program directors among the top 3 professors who made a difference in the previous 5 years, for the excellence of his teaching.
• 2015 External Funding Recognition Award, given to the the faculty member who brought the most important extramural funding for the school’s research (US$ 700,000 grant).
• 2014 Award for Top Publishing Performance among Universidad de Los Andes School of Management faculty.
