Eva Moskowitz

Assistant Professor of History

Biography

-

As founder and CEO of Success Academy Charter Schools, the largest and best-performing public charter school network in New York State, I have made it my mission to challenge the conventional wisdom that children from high-need neighborhoods cannot achieve at the highest academic levels. Since I opened the first Success Academy in Harlem in 2006, I have been a leader in education reform, offering parents an alternative to chronically low-performing schools and helping thousands of children fulfill their academic potential. Today, Success Academy operates 47 schools and employs hundreds of teachers and other professionals.
